We recently had the privilege of heading off for a little retreat, all the cadets and a few staff, to seek the Lord. We headed out to a piece of the countryside here in Winnipeg, to a local monastery. In the afternoon we all went our separate ways, in silence, to follow the Lord’s leading. It was a gorgeous day; sun shining, beautiful breeze. I ended up in a huge field, no one around. I brought my painting gear with me and was led to paint.
Surrounded by the trees, sun and grass, no humans in sight, I couldn’t help but be overwhelmed by the worship of all of creation. I realized just then that the very heart of creation is worship.
