Shona was born and raised in Owen Sound, Ontario and is a 5th generation Salvationist. She has been a Salvation Army Officer for over 17 years and has been privileged to experience many opportunities to serve, grow and learn along the way. Along with her husband Keith, Shona has ministered as a Corps Officer in Stratford, Chatham and Agincourt and served as Divisional Youth Secretary in Ontario West and British Columbia.
In July 2008 Shona was appointed to the College for Officer Training in Winnipeg. She is the Director of Personnel and the Music Coordinator. She is a graduate of York University and is enjoying the opportunity to journey with cadets through their training.
Shona has a love for music, enjoys downhill skiing and travelling (preferably to places that are warm!).
Throughout her ministry she continues to see evidence of God’s faithfulness and leading in her life as she is challenged to know God, know herself and know her mission.
