Keith was born in Carbonear, Newfoundland to Salvation Army officer parents and, as a result, has lived in a several cities across Canada, from coast to coast.
Keith is married to Shona (Cook). He has been a Salvation Army Officer for 20 years. Throughout that time he has been privileged to serve across the country in Stratford, Chatham, London and Scarborough, Ontario, as well as British Columbia. While serving in Scarborough, Keith was chaplain with the Toronto Police Service.
In July 2008 Keith was appointed to the College for Officer Training, in Winnipeg, as the Director of Personnel . In 2010 he became the Director of Field Education. Along with his responsibilities at CFOT, Keith serves as chaplain with the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service. Keith is a graduate of Tyndale University College (BRE) (where he was inducted into the Delta Epsilon Chi Honour Society(ABHE)) and the University of Guelph (MA).
Keith is a Starbuck’s addict who loves to play golf, hockey, and go downhill skiing. When not involved in sports Keith loves to cheer for his favourite team, the Toronto Maple Leafs, despite their dismal year(s).
