Major Jamie Braund

I was born and raised in Peterborough, Ontario – and received an Honours B.Sc. degree in Chemistry from Trent University. After working as a lab technician in Winnipeg (1982-1984), I entered Training College in 1985 in the Messengers of Peace session. I was blessed to be married to Ann in 1987 and we have served together in 5 Corps appointments (Agincourt – assistant CO, Thunder Bay, Hamilton Citadel – Bermuda, Cariboo Hill Temple – BC and London Citadel). We have 3 children – Joanna, Jared & Jessica – and we’re now looking forward to exciting opportunities here at CFOT.

Praying Scripture – 1 Chronicles 16:29

“Ascribe to the LORD
the glory due his name;
bring an offering and come before him.
Worship the LORD
in the splendour of his holiness.”

Living Scripture - Hebrews 12:8-9

If you are not disciplined
(and everyone undergoes discipline),
then you are illegitimate children
and not true sons.
Moreover, we have all had human fathers
who disciplined us
and we respected them for it.
How much more should we submit
to the Father of our spirits and live!

Praying Scripture – 1 Chronicles 16:29

Living Scripture - Daniel 6:10

Now when Daniel learned
that the decree had been published,
he went home to his upstairs room
where the windows opened toward Jerusalem.
Three times a day he got down on his knees and prayed,
giving thanks to his God,
just as he had done before.
This Easter CFOT Cadets and Officers had the privilege of participating in a variety of Easter activities and services at Corps in Alberta.

Small goups of Cadets/Officers participated in all aspects of the Easter Services and were also able to spend some valuable time with youth groups. In Calgary tradition, some of our CFOT folks were “white hatted” (see photos below). A wonderful time of worship, outreach and fellowship was had by all.

A big thank you to the Alberta Divsion for hosting us! You have been so gracious to us in sharing your ministries, your homes and your hearts with us…
