Ann first visited The Salvation Army at the age of 16 through an invitation to Youth Group. The people of the Picton Corps loved her and led her to faith. Many opportunities to practice her faith in the Picton Corps shaped her calling to officership. She entered Training College in 1981 as a Herald of Hope.
Ann has spent 28 consecutive years as a Corps Officer; 4 years as a single officer and 24 married. Her appointments have taken her across the Territory; Drumheller – Alberta, Liverpool – Nova Scotia, Campbellford – Ontario, Agincourt – Ontario, Thunder Bay – Ontario, Hamilton – Bermuda, Burnaby – British Columbia and London – Ontario. She brings a love for Corps ministry to her new appointment, Training Officer at CFOT.
Ann and her husband, Jamie, have just celebrated their 24th wedding anniversary and launched two of their children- Joanna who stayed in London and Jared who has gone to The War College in Vancouver. Ann’s joy is wrapped up in family and ministry. The move to Winnipeg with sixteen year old daughter, Jessica, is full of adventure and opportunity.
