I stood on the upper deck of a mall recently and watched the people on the lower level walk feverishly from one store to another. Some were carrying bags, some were carrying cups of coffee, and others looked as if they were deep in thought – probably looking for that perfect Christmas gift. I remember [...]

One of the highlights of my summer assignment in Winnipeg at the HPT has been getting to know the people!  Peter and I have been attending HPT since last Sept. and it has been a blessing to begin developing deeper and more personal relationships as a result of our full-time ministry there. It has been a [...]

As a session, we all heard about the Prayer Warriors summer assignment last year, and what an enriching, affirming and challenging experience it was for them.  We were assured the same would be true for the Ambassadors of Holiness this year.  Then, of course, there was the added excitement that starting building in April when many [...]

When I am at the quarters, I get up quite often to look out the living room window.  Acro ss the street is the Corps building and the ocean.  I’ve never seen the ocean before coming to Newfoundland.  I am in awe – I have never seen anything like it!  Each time I look at it [...]

“Father, Into Thy hands I commend my spirit” “Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord my soul to keep; If I should die before I wake, I pray the Lord my soul to take.” Do you remember your childhood and praying those words before you went to sleep? Hebrew children were [...]

    Praying Scripture – Micah 6:8-10

    He has shown you,
    O mortal, what is good.
And what does the LORD require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy
and to walk humbly with your God.

    Living Scripture -  Psalm 25:3

No one who hopes in you
will ever be put to shame.

  • In Sunday January 22 2012

CFOT was pleased to welcome special guests Colonels Floyd and Tracey Tidd to our In Sunday on January 22, 2012.
The focus of their message was “Hope” and cadets and officers shared stories of life situations that may have seemed hopeless but which eventually brought them to know hope.

This In Sunday was also blessed by the attendance of our Field Based Training cadets – Peck-Ee Wong and Leonard Heng, and  Kim and Darryl Burry (and their family).
