The right to speak freely is something we cherish in our society. In fact most western democracies list free speech as a fundamental right. So what happens when one’s right to free speech collides with one’s right to practice freedom of religion? On Tuesday the Eats and Exegetes group discussed this issue in light of the Muhammad cartoon controversy.

We have had opportunity to read course papers, and most recently heard a podcast of a new tune to a Salvation Army song. Today, Rob shares the hope we all have as believers in the redemptive work of Jesus Christ in his poem, “The Wedding Feast”

This Easter CFOT Cadets and Officers had the privilege of participating in a variety of Easter activities and services at Corps in Alberta.
Small goups of Cadets/Officers participated in all aspects of the Easter Services and were also able to spend some valuable time with youth groups. In Calgary tradition, some of our CFOT folks were “white hatted” (see photos below). A wonderful time of worship, outreach and fellowship was had by all.
A big thank you to the Alberta Divsion for hosting us! You have been so gracious to us in sharing your ministries, your homes and your hearts with us…
