You can tell a lot about a community by watching. Looking at the neighbourhood stores, how resident’s tend their homes, what kinds of cars are parked on the street… it’s a bit like being a detective. And that is what faculty and staff from CFOT are doing every week in a Winnipeg community where The Salvation Army’s Multicultural Family Centre is located.

During the prayer walk participants watch, learn and commit to the Lord their concerns and hopes for the neighbourhood. Knowing the area, knowing the people you minister to and knowing the God who is deeply interested in the lives of everyone in that community… these are some of the first principles we learn at CFOT. CFOT was pleased to welcome special guests Colonels Floyd and Tracey Tidd to our In Sunday on January 22, 2012.
The focus of their message was “Hope” and cadets and officers shared stories of life situations that may have seemed hopeless but which eventually brought them to know hope.

This In Sunday was also blessed by the attendance of our Field Based Training cadets – Peck-Ee Wong and Leonard Heng, and Kim and Darryl Burry (and their family).
