Born and raised in Grande Prairie, Alberta, I have spent my entire life there. That is until now. I spent the last 11 years working in the Oil Patch of Northern Alberta and BC, and prior to that I worked as a Firefighter, Teacher’s Aide, Criminal Justice Educator, Farmer and Student.
I have had many interests along the way including music, psychology, and criminology. Typically, I will spend my free time playing trombone or euphonium, reading, or relaxing outdoors. Deanna and I have 3 children who are of an age to keep us very busy, and one of our favourite things to do is camping together as a family and with friends. Deanna and I love to travel, and have made 2 trips back to South Africa since being married.
We have a blog site where you can follow our adventures and ideas as they happen. This is a great way for us to share our life with others who may be interested in what we are doing. We are looking forward to the adventures that await us as Officers in The Salvation Army.
Blog site is: www.idscott.blogspot.com
