Tonia,
Very well expressed!
I particularly enjoyed your reflection about the bridge, and the broken tree.

There's alot of brokeness...alot, which goes unnoticed (by man)...but the Good News is: It hasn't gone unnoticed by God!

What an awesome priveledge to know that God has chosen to use you for such a noble purpose.

Take confidence in knowing that God goes with you. He's equipping you. He is leading you. There are no coincidences in where our journey takes us - just ministry opportunities.

Very proud of you and Chris...I'm proud you've stayed the course, and are willing to follow faithfully where God has led you.

God bless you in your ministry 'now' and in the future.

Corina.

Well said, Tonia and I do appreciate you letting me link with it. As I have told you many times God will certianly use, both you and Chris for his glory. We know there is a great need out there, if only more would take up this challenge. May God continue to be with both of you in those training days, which may not always be easy. Just continue to trust Him for the answers. God Bless You both
                     Love Ruby and Caleb.

Tonia,

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Think about you and Chris from time to time and pary that God will continue to come close to you and guide you in what he wants you to experience.

I can see from your reflection that you are keenly listening and seeing what God wants you to see and do. There are so many needs out there and it doesn't matter which Province you are in, you will see great needs whether it's in a small town or a large city. The only thing in the large city it is compounded because so many people are living there and therefore there are more of the same type of needs and it can become very overwhelming. Trust in God and he will direct you to the greatness need for each day because he is all-seeing and all-knowing. It is good to seek out one particular need and try to meet it and you will feel this is the one that God's wanted me to meet today.

May God bless you and Chris as you wait on the Lord for his instruction and guideance. We will keep praying for you that you will continue to feel the rewards of serving God in such a wonderful way. Blessings on you all as you journey through your training.

Thanks for sharing such wonderful experiences.
It really is true that no matter where you go in life there is always a ministry opportunity just around the corner. God is going to use you in a powerful way. I have good memories of the weekend we spent at the cfot in St. John's in 1993 and your reflection just proves to me that everything goes according to God's schedule and not ours. I am proud of you and praying for you as you continue your journey and grow in the Lord.
God Bless you and Chris richly,
Audrey

Tonia,
It is quite evident that you are growing deeper in your experience with God as you see the needs of people in the community. Like the people who live under the bridge. As the song says "People need the Lord". I know that yourself and Chris have open hearts and will help many people in your ministry as time goes on. Blessings on you both.
This is a good read. Maybe it could be published in the Salvationist

God Bless

Tonia,
A wonderful sharing!
It is such a human characteristic to stereotype and not see past the surface. We all need to be aware, no matter where we are or what we are doing. Every experience should be an opportunity to do the Lord's work.
God Bless you and Chris,
Aunt Sandi

Tonia, quite a diverse world we live in and living in Winnipeg will allow you to see things that you won't always see in Green's Harbour. These God experiences will help to strengthen your Spirit to face all the wonderful ministry oppertunities that will come your way. People living under a bridge is a sad reality more often then we know (and even back home in Newfoundland), but I believe when God's children ernestly pray for these people it does have an impact. Maybe you will never see the results yourself, but I believe prayer is pivital to all and for all and your prayers will have an impact on lives.

I'm so glad to hear that your Field is so diverse. Real life issue that you will no doubt use throughout your ministry. God Bless and Great Job.
