welcome09_245Did you know that 2 cadets from Korea and 2 from the Eastern India Territory are joining CFOT in Winnipeg?  You’ll have more of a chance to meet them later, but we thought we’d take the opportunity to introduce you to Saeng-yon Lee and Hye-young Cho and their son, Joon, from the Korea Territory.  They join the Prayer Warriors in their second year of training and will be serving at the Southlands Community Church.  You may be interested to know that they have 4 other session-mates who have come to the U.S. to train, 2 in New York and 2 in California.  Yes, we asked the same question you’re thinking…”Did you get to choose to come to Winnpeg over Long Beach, CA?”  I think we all know the answer to that.

As well, it is our pleasure to introduce you to Chalrimawia, “Charles”(his name of choice in Canada).  Charles is from the Eastern India Territory, and joins the Ambassadors of Holiness for his 2 years of training.  Charles asked if it was cold in Winnipeg and then asked why everyone laughs when he asks that.  Cold for Charles is 25 degrees celcius…a veritable heatwave in Winnipeg.  Enough about weather.  Here is Charles arriving at the airport last night.  He’s the one WITH hair.  We are still awaiting word of our second cadet from Eastern India, Esther, and we would ask for your prayers for her as she prepares to come to Winnpeg.

    Scriptures for Praying & Living

    February 6, 2012

    Praying Scripture – Leviticus 20:8

Keep my decrees and follow them.
I am the LORD, who makes you holy.

    Living Scripture -  Psalm 24:3

Who may ascend the mountain of the LORD?
Who may stand in his holy place?
The one who has clean hands and a pure heart,
who does not trust in an idol
or swear by a false god.

  • In Sunday January 22 2012

CFOT was pleased to welcome special guests Colonels Floyd and Tracey Tidd to our In Sunday on January 22, 2012.
The focus of their message was “Hope” and cadets and officers shared stories of life situations that may have seemed hopeless but which eventually brought them to know hope.

This In Sunday was also blessed by the attendance of our Field Based Training cadets – Peck-Ee Wong and Leonard Heng, and  Kim and Darryl Burry (and their family).
