I have been a Christian all my life. I am thankful for my Christian parents who took to heart the words of a well known poem “Children live what they learn.” I grew up through the Salvation Army and all the available programs and became an active band member and vocalist at a very young age.
Officership has always been close in mind. For a number of years I have been building my own little ministry through encouraging and reaching out to inactive members of my home Corps. You will always find me in good supply of cards and a stack of “pass it on” cards.
My hobbies and interests include: scrapbooking, photography, painting, baking, cake decorating, quilting, stitching, boating & fishing, and in my quiet moments with God, I love to write poetry.
Partners in Mission is another passion of mine. Each year I would contribute in different ways, but this past year in 2009 I was privileged to donate $500.00 to Tanzania by selling 100 copies of my poetry book. I look forward to a life of opportunities to serve God and humanity through the avenue of full time ministry.
