jaclynI was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba and, aside from 2 summers in Ottawa, Ontario during college, I have spent my entire life here.  I am part of a family of five. I am the youngest of three children.  I have a sister Linda, and a brother John Paul. My parents are Sharon and Ted Wynne. I am also close with my large extended family which gathers several times a year for family meals or special occasions.

Some of the things I like to do in my leisure time are reading, watching movies and my playing on my Xbox. My favorite movie of all time is the Wizard of Oz, and I have gathered a large collection of Oz memorabilia, which sadly I will not be bringing with me to CFOT (boo hoo).

I am excited about the days ahead and excited about my part in the future of the Salvation Army. God is amazing.

    Hi Jackie!

So glad to hear the news that you have entered CFOT…back to summers in Ottawa when you ventured to Woodroffe – up in the balcony taking things in…who would’ve thought you would answer God’s call on your life for full time ministry.

Praising God today for your life. Blessings on your committment!

    Sharon

  2. Jaclyn Says:

    Thanks Sharon,
It is good to hear from you. I miss my days in Ottawa and hope to visit there sometime again soon.

    Scriptures for Praying & Living

    February 6, 2012

    Praying Scripture – Leviticus 20:8

Keep my decrees and follow them.
I am the LORD, who makes you holy.

    Living Scripture -  Psalm 24:3

Who may ascend the mountain of the LORD?
Who may stand in his holy place?
The one who has clean hands and a pure heart,
who does not trust in an idol
or swear by a false god.

  • In Sunday January 22 2012

CFOT was pleased to welcome special guests Colonels Floyd and Tracey Tidd to our In Sunday on January 22, 2012.
The focus of their message was “Hope” and cadets and officers shared stories of life situations that may have seemed hopeless but which eventually brought them to know hope.

This In Sunday was also blessed by the attendance of our Field Based Training cadets – Peck-Ee Wong and Leonard Heng, and  Kim and Darryl Burry (and their family).
