Bishops Falls | Blessings

God has continued to bless us during our time here in Bishop’s Falls, NL. As I visit and get to know the people, I realize that many are hurting out there. Several ladies, who had been Salvationists for years, were going through enormous trials and were beginning to doubt their salvation. I felt very privileged to be able to encourage them and pray for them, reminding them that God would never leave them nor forsake them. Their happiness in just having someone visit showed me what an important part visitation plays in our ministry.
As well, I was privileged to spend a day at the Mom& Tots Camp at Twin Ponds, where I saw many Moms bring their burdens and needs and lay them at Jesus’ feet. The day was complete when we witnessed a young Mom give her heart to the Lord after evening devotions. I felt honored that the Lord would use a simple night devotion to bring his child home to Him.
From July 17th to July 25th I found myself at Music Camp as a Junior Counselor and also responsible for a Bible Study. As a Junior counselor, I was able to get to know the young girls from Bishop’s Falls and build rapport with them. I ministered with a girl who was dealing with issues that were very difficult, and she didn’t know what to do with all of her anger. For the rest of the week, whenever she felt she was going to burst, she would visit me in my room until she calmed down. I thank God He showed me her pain and I was able to help in some small way.
As a facilitator for the Bible group, God used me to encourage those in my group to try to understand that parents are human too. God’s power was at work as the teenagers opened up and shared. Their honesty really touched me.
My time at camp was a growing experience for me and I praise God He gave me the opportunity for the new experiences, including learning how to play a “BASS GUITAR”!

Finally, I found the information I was looking for. I have been doing research on this subject, and for four days I keep entering sites that are supposed to have what I am searching for, only to be discouraged with the lack of what I had to have. I wish I would have located your web-site sooner! I had about 25% of what I was looking for and your web-site has that, and the rest of what I had to have to finish my research.
