AUXILIARY CAPTAIN | DIANE KIRBY
Mon, Apr 27, 2009
I was born and raised in Pilley’s Island, Newfoundland, with a wonderful Christian upbringing. At age 15 I finished school and went to Grand Bank to work, from there to Burin, where I met and married my husband.
Several years into our marriage we left the church, with no intentions of going back, but God had other plans. After years of being away, God started to deal with us in a big way and, in 1995 during a Sunday night service, we walked hand in hand to the altar and gave God all there was of us. I had no idea what God had in store but His words in Habakkuk 1:5 really became a reality when He said, “Watch and be utterly amazed for I am going to do something in your days that you would not believe.”
He did! And here we are into our seventh year of ministry, and beginning training with the Army’s Auxiliary Captains program.

Great to see your testimony Diane. Isn’t it wonderful that God’s plans are not our plans! Thinking of you and Randy and wishing you God’s richest blessing as you continue to minister where he has placed you. I see you are on the move! Be assured that He who has begun a good work with continue to see it through. You are in our prayers
