Rick Zelinsky has been married to his wife Deana for 20 years and they are serving the Lord as officers in The Salvation Army in Winnipeg, MB, with their 3 children: Jordan, Brianne and Elissa.

Rick has a passion for reaching the last, the least and the lost through the ministry of God’s grace and mercy, and has a conviction that this is the calling for The Salvation Army. He is involved in the development of Salvation Army leadership as the Director of Field Education for The Salvation Army in Canada and Bermuda, a role which suits his practical approach to living out his faith.

In his spare time he loves to preach, is an amateur magician, and a comedian wannabe. He is an avid blogger who brings his wit and wisdom to wrestle with issues facing the church. Rick feels he may have a calling as a worship comedian; warming up the crowd for the worship service.

CFOT was pleased to welcome special guests Colonels Floyd and Tracey Tidd to our In Sunday on January 22, 2012.
The focus of their message was “Hope” and cadets and officers shared stories of life situations that may have seemed hopeless but which eventually brought them to know hope.

This In Sunday was also blessed by the attendance of our Field Based Training cadets – Peck-Ee Wong and Leonard Heng, and Kim and Darryl Burry (and their family).
