With the fall of 2008, Ray begins his second year in the role of Director of Academic Studies at the College For Officer Training. He considers it a privilege to continue his involvement with the College this way. The stimulation of class conversations, the sharing of field placement ministries, and the banter of NHL rivalries make for a rich time. It also helps him to deny the reality of being a “retired” officer!

During the past year, Ray has learned much about the “restoration” industry; he has re-kindled his love for the songs of Charles Wesley; and one of his goals for the coming year is to add another dessert recipe to his repertoire of three.

In addition to his role at CFOT, Ray is President of the Manitoba Interfaith Council.

CFOT was pleased to welcome special guests Colonels Floyd and Tracey Tidd to our In Sunday on January 22, 2012.
The focus of their message was “Hope” and cadets and officers shared stories of life situations that may have seemed hopeless but which eventually brought them to know hope.

This In Sunday was also blessed by the attendance of our Field Based Training cadets – Peck-Ee Wong and Leonard Heng, and Kim and Darryl Burry (and their family).
